Ascension (2007)
Creatively, this project began about three years ago as I found myself inspired with new lyrics and melodies while attending a worship conference in Chicago . Musically, Ascension has maintained a certain degree of continuity with our first project, The Rhythm of Worship , with its tapestry of psalms, hymns, and original worship songs. There is a variety of musical genres represented on this project ranging from the Celtic sound of the Irish whistle to the more country sound of the pedal steel guitar. Thematically, this project seemed to be summed up in the words of the apostle Paul, “Set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand” (Colossians 3:1). We hope these songs can be a resource for worship, both corporately and privately, leading you to “heavenly realities,” to our ascended Lord – Jesus Christ.

The Rhythm of Worship (2003)
Musically, it is our desire to embrace the best of the old and the best of the new. Thus, on The Rhythm of Worship, we have tried to weave together a tapestry of ancient psalms and historic hymns with our own compositions. We have also intentionally included songs of joy and adoration as well as songs of confession and lament. We feel like this is the only honest way to express the seasons of the heart and the truth of the gospel: that we are more sinful than we could ever dare imagine, but we are more loved and accepted than we could ever dare hope!
